Spring Bedding :)

Hello to my fellow bloggers after a very long time. I am back with new ideas and brand new projects. I am looking forward to have fun with you all.....
So, this week I sewn my bed sheet set. It is very colorful...... very odd for my taste. There is always first for everything. This is my first bold take on bedding.

These are the two fabrics I have used.

You will be asking why did I choose this bright color and bold print. It is officially spring but it still as cold as February. I just wanted to bring the spring vibe in my bedroom. Surprisingly it did change my room, it looks brand new and lively again. Enough about me........

So you gies are ready to have fun yet???

Big question is how and what did I do? Does it look and work like the store bought ones? The answer is yes. The pieces are:

1. one mattress cover

2. four pillow cases

3. one flat sheet

For all the pieces I bought 7.5 yards of fabrics. The fabric is 100% cotton about 600 thread count.

Total cost for fabric is about $35.00.
